Ghana international, Kamal Sowah is starting for Club Brugge tonight in the Uefa Champions League clash against Benfica.
The versatile attacker who flourishes when playing in midfield was in action for the Belgian side a fortnight ago when they lost 2-0 to the team from Portugal in the first leg of the Round 16 tie in this season’s Uefa Champions League.
Today, Kamal Sowah and his teammates are hoping to overturn the first-leg defeat to secure qualification to the quarter-finals of the contest.
Ahead of kick-off at 20:00gmt, the Black Stars player has been deployed in midfield to overload that part of the field in hopes that it will benefit Club Brugge.
While the task looks difficult, Club Brugge will hope to have a good game to earn the needed result to qualify for the next stage of the Uefa Champions League.
