Ghanaian international, Forson Amankwah was in action for Red Bull Salzburg on Tuesday evening when the team suffered a 2-0 defeat to Real Sociedad.

The youngster missed out on a starting role in the Uefa Champions League game but was introduced at halftime when his team trailed by two goals.

He started the second half and played all 45 minutes after replacing Maurits Kjærgaard.

Before coming on, Real Sociedad had a comfortable lead thanks to goals from Mikel Oyarzabal and Brais Mendez in the 7th and the 27th minutes respectively.

After coming on, Forson Amankwah played very well and helped his team in their bid to stage a comeback.

Although Red Bull Salzburg could not salvage anything from the game, the team’s good performance after recess meant that the side did not concede any more goals.

This season, Forson Amankwah has played well for his club and is gradually becoming a key asset for the Austrian Bundesliga outfit.
