Ghanaian striker Bernard Tekpetey's side Schalke 04 have been handed Ajax in the UEFA EUROPA League quarter final.

Schalke played out 3-3 aggregate score line against Borussia Monchengladbach but advanced via the away goal rule after playing 1-1 at the Gelsenkirchen Stadium in the first leg before coming from behind from two goals down to draw 2-2 at the Borussia Park on Thursday.

The first-legs ties for the quarter-finals take place on the week commencing April 13, with the return fixtures taking place the following week.

Meanwhile, fellow Ghanaian Baba Rahman will not partake in the two-legged ties due to injury he sustained during the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon.
