Arturo Vidal has made fresh contact with Alexis Sanchez about moving to Bayern Munich.
The 28-year-old is yet to commit his future to Arsenal and has just over one year remaining on his contract.
Vidal revealed he has being using the less than conventional method WhatsApp messages to persuade the forward to trade the Premier League for the Bundesliga.
Speaking to reporters in Chile, Vidal said: "I told him it was the opportunity for him to be in a big team.
"If he wants to compare with the best, he has to go to the best team."
