VIDEO: Black Queens hold first training session ahead of AWCON qualifier against Nigeria

Black Queens of Ghana held their first training session on Monday ahead of the first leg of the 2022 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations second round first leg qualifier against Nigeria.

Coach Mercy Tagoe put the players through their paces as they intensify preparations for the crucial qualifier.

Ghana arrived in Lagos, Nigeria earlier on Monday - led by Madam Habiba Atta Forson, who doubles as the Chairperson of the Black Queens Management Committee.

Other key members included Kinsley Osei Bonsu, Female National teams Coordinator Adjoa Bayor, Hannah Amakye Asare from the Competitions department, and representative of the Ministry of Youth and Sports Joshua Mawunyo Adukpo.

The Black Queens will hold their mandatory training session on Tuesday at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos at 3pm.

The Nigeria versus Ghana qualifier is scheduled for the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos at 1500Hrs on Wednesday, October 20, 2021.
