Ghana international, Daniel Afriyie Barnieh is working hard in pre-season to ensure he gets to play regularly for FC Zurich when the 2023/24 football season commences.
The attacker joined the Swiss Super League club from Hearts of Oak early this year in January.
Unfortunately, he could not hit the ground running as he struggled for playing time.
Now in the off-season, the forward has set his sight on impressing the technical handlers of FC Zurich to ensure he cements a place in the first team before the start of the new season.
Today, Daniel Afriyie Barnieh was in action for his team in the pre-season friendly match against FC Schaffhausen.
He bagged a brace in the second half to seal a 5-1 win for FC Zurich at the end of the exercise.
With more friendly games coming up, the striker is hopeful of getting more minutes to fight for a place in the first eleven.
