VIDEO: GFA in the process of evaluating received bids for broadcast rights – Kurt Okraku

President for the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Kurt Okraku has noted that the body is still in the process of evaluating received bids from broadcasters who wish to telecast the upcoming league season.

The Ghana Premier League is just a week away from its commencement as competitive domestic football is set to return after over a year absence due to the Number 12 video released by Anas Aremeyaw Anas.

In a bid to ensure everybody gets to enjoy the upcoming season, the GFA paved way for broadcasters who wish to telecast matches when the campaign starts to present their bids.

Having received quite a number of offers, GFA President Kurt Okraku has today shared that those bids are being evaluated by a formed sub-committee. The committee is expected to choose the best one eventually to allow for telecast on tv and other media.

“We have started the process of getting media partners. Media here includes Tv partners, radio partners, we made that process public. The interested companies have made their intentions clear. A sub-committee has been put together to evaluate the bids and in due time we will announce who are partners will be”, the GFA boss told journalists after its Ordinary Congress at Prampram today.
