Inside 10 minutes, Mohammed Kudus was unfortunately taken off after suffering a knee injury against Liverpool in the Champions League.
He was replaced by Quincy Primes and Ajax announced that he will be out for several months.
The 20-year-old was tipped to take the Champions League by storm but the injury has halted things.
He is also expected to be out of Ghana's qualifying matches due to the meniscus injury in his left knee.
