Racing Strasbourg's new signing Abdul Majeed Warris was on target on Wednesday evening when they defeated Toulouse FC by a lone goal in the ongoing French Ligue 1 season.
The pacey forward joined the French club in the winter transfer window from Portuguese giants FC Porto as he seeks regular playing time in a bid to return to top form.
In a Match Week 23 fixture of the season today, Majeed Warris started as a substitute for Racing Strasbourg as they hosted Toulouse Fc at the Stadion Municipal.
Following a goalless first half, the striker was introduced into the match in the second half to replace Jean-Ricner Bellegarde. Two minutes after his introduction he found himself in a good position and made no mistake as he fired his effort into the back of the net.
