Rio Ferdinand has revealed that Cristiano Ronaldo is more of a joker than many people may think.
The two played together for the best part of what was a hugely successful decade when Ronaldo arrived at Manchester Unitedfrom Sporting Lisbon, winning almost every competition at least once.
The three-time Ballon d'Or winner has earned a reputation of being purely focused on progressing his career goals since then, but former teammate Ferdinand has dismissed that.
To prove his point, Ferdinand recalled a prank that Ronaldo played on manager Sir Alex Ferguson while at Manchester United, which would have taken some nerve.

It shows the fearlessness of Ronaldo that he even attempted to prank Ferguson, something that most players wouldn't have even considered doing.
Although, being Ronaldo, he might have had slightly more leeway than some of the lesser known players that have been managed by the Scotsman.
IfEric Djemba-Djemba had attempted the same prank, he would probably have received the hair dryer treatment (or worse).
