Winger Joel Fameyeh scored this evening to steer his Orenburg side to a 1-0 win against Dynamo Moscow in the Russia Premier League.
In what is the last match of the 2019/2020 top-flight league season in Russia played at the Vtb Arena, the Ghanaian was handed a started role to help his team fight for the maximum points.
After a good performance from both teams, it all came down to the goal scored by Joel Fameyeh on the 29th minute to decide who walks away with the win.
The striker guided a diving header into the back of the net even though he was fiercely contested by his marker in the area.
Orenburg put up a good show from there on and managed to cross the finish line without conceding.
This was the Ghanaian’s 23rd game of the season in which he has bagged 8 goals, finishing the season as a joint top-scorer of his team.
