Ghana's Sadat Karim scored in Apollon Smyrnis 2-0 win against AEK FC on Saturday afternoon in the Greek Super League 2 at Serafideio.
The guests were more efficient and took advantage of the opportunities they created, unlike AEK FC who on many occasions came very close to the goal, but failed to score.
Pereira crossed from the right and Panagiotis Moraitis opens the scoring with a strong jump and a nice header in the 15th minute.
AEK FC had a great opportunity in the 33rd minute, Stamoulis crossed from the right, Zini's first headed, and Gerolemos' volleyed from outside the box but Kotsaris was alert to parry.
After halftime, Apollon Smyrnis poured more men forward and equalized in the 47th minute. Sadat Karim took advantage of a wrong pass by Gerolemos and avoided Christofilopoulos before hitting the ball into the net.
Another very good chance for AEK FC occurred in the 60th minute, Botou's shot from a good position in the area went high out, after a very good effort and turn by Parras.
Apollon Smyrnis is second on the Greek Super League 2 table with 34 points after 15 games.
