Wa All-stars midfielder Abdul Nasiru Moro says his goal against Aduana Stars in the match day 22 of the Ghana Premier League was for the fans.
Nasiru Moro scored the second goal in Wa All Stars’ mauling of Aduana Stars at the Wa Park on Wednesday. The youngster was opening his goal scoring account for the club after an outstanding performance.
The midfield who is having a breakthrough season was voted man of the match in the win over Aduana and he said after the game his goal, which could be a goal of the season contender was dedicated to the fans.
“I first dedicate my goal to the fans, the technical team and my entire playing staff. It was a collective effort and we deserve every bit of our achievements on the pitch.
“The fans inspired me and it is only good if I dedicate the goal to these die hard supporters. Hopefully I will get more goals though I am not bothered about scoring. It is a very good point to start and who knows where next”, Nasir Moro told Ghana Crusader.
The win moves Wa All Stars to the 9th position following a poor season after winning the title last season.
