Ghana Premier League side, West Africa Football Academy (WAFA) posted a 2-1 win over Togolese side ASCK in an international friendly match ahead of the upcoming 2019/2020 season.

The off-season match played at the Sogakope Park over the weekend gave some entertainment to fans as both sides used the exercise to test their strength as well as to sharpen some rough edges in their respective teams.

Attacker Daniel Lomotey gave WAFA the lead just 15 minutes into the first half before ASCK pulled level on the 24th minute.

A second-half penalty kick converted by Gideon Akonnor restored the lead for WAFA who held on to win the match the end of the 90 minutes.
