Captain of the Black Princesses of Ghana, Stella Nyamekye has assured Ghanaians that the team is ready to fight to make the country proud.
The Dreamz Ladies midfielder has been named captain of the Black Princesses ahead of the start of the WAFU B U20 Girls Cup.
Speaking in an interview, Stella Nyamekye says she will work hard with her teammates to ensure the Princesses achieve success for the country.
“I am very glad and honoured to captain the team and I am grateful to the technical team for the trust and I know the team will work together to achieve great results and we will work hard as a team to achieve success,” the Black Princesses captain said as quoted on the website of the Ghana FA.
Stella Nyamekye as captain of the Black Princesses will be assisted by Faith Ladies’ Maafia Nyame, Afi Amenyaku of Northern Ladies, and Abena Anoma Opoku of Ampem Darkoa Ladies.
