The saga surrounding Mauro Icardi’s contract at Inter continues but the No.9’s agent, Wanda Nara, has spoken positively of Giuseppe Marotta.
Nara discussing her husband’s contract publically is nothing new, though this time she did resist the urge to take shots at the club.
“We have a sincere executive who speaks to us and explains the situation,” she said of Marotta.
“We haven’t really discussed figures, Inter have other priorities and Mauro is their captain and always wants to help the team.
“Marotta seems to me to be a sincere person and he showed us that. There’s a lot of hypocrisy in football so you need that, he looks you in the eye and tells you the truth, which is something we’re not used to in this world.”
