United's all-time leading goalscorer has shown off his variety of vehicles in the past including an eco-friendly £100,000 BMW i8, which he had driven since the summer of 2015.

Rooney has returned to training with the Reds following an illness which kept him out of the club's 3-0 victory over Leicester City in the Premier League last weekend at the King Power stadium.

The striker will be hoping to at least win a place on the bench on Saturday afternoon when United face Watford at Old Trafford in the league.

The England international has failed to nail down a regular starting spot for the Reds this season with just eight starts in the league in 2016/17, but the return of the Europa League this month and United's involvement in the EFL Cup and FA Cup could see more playing time for Rooney.

There is expected to be a number of teams from the Chinese Super League and the MLS interested in making a move for Rooney in the summer following his lack of appearances under Red's boss Jose Mourinho.
