Hearts of Oak coach Aboubakar Ouattara has emphasized his sides readiness to deliver for the fans in the ongoing Ghana Premier League campaign.

Ouattara, who joined the Phobians before the start of the second round of the campaign has made an instant impact at the club, winning three and drawing two after five games so far.

The Ivorian tactician has amassed 11 points from a possible 15 after five games in the second half of the domestic top-flight.

On Monday, the rainbow boys extended their undefeated streak to eight games after coming from behind to claim a 2-1 victory at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.

Youngster Mustapha Yakubu scored a free-kick to give Bashir Hayford's side the lead. His shot from the edge of the box beat goalkeeper Richard Attah.

Hearts responded swiftly after the interval after midfielder Salim Adams headed home a free-kick delivered by Martin Karikari in the 49th minute.

Despite being reduced to 10-man, the Phobians fought to secure maximum points with Linda Mtange’s strike.

“I love them; we are fighting for them” he replied when asked to send a message to the fans.

Hearts of Oak have now surpassed rivals Asante Kotoko on Ghana Premier League table. They are now 7th on the standings but tied on points with Kotoko.
