German-born Ghanaian defender Daniel Heber has revealed that the team is in a good mood ahead of their crucial showdown against Hansa Rostock in the German second division.
According to Heber, the team is thinking positively ahead of the clash that will likely define their season.
FC Magdeburg got off to a good start in the new season. There was nothing to suggest the typically tough second year after promotion, especially for the Elbe-based club. Daniel Heber's side has now gone seven games without a win.
"Once we win, the team will feel more secure again. We don't worry about that so much. We're in a good mood and don't think negatively," said Heber, confident that the Elbestadt team could turn things around quickly with the necessary sense of success.
"It doesn't do us any good if we walk around in a bad mood. We are positive people, we are happy during training without losing our seriousness. Not only the fans want us to score again, but of course we, the players, too," he added.
