The head coach of the Black Galaxies of Ghana, Annor Walker has stressed that his team means business and will fight to win the CHAN 2023 tournament.
The experienced tactician has been in charge of the home-based national team of the country since last year and has put together a very strong squad for the upcoming tournament.
Speaking in an interview, Coach Annor Walker said his team is not going to the CHAN 2023 tournament just to joke or admire the country.
“We didn’t come here to come and joke. We didn’t come here to look at how Algiers is. We came for a purpose. We came also to win the cup,” the Black Galaxies head coach said.
Ghana at the 2023 CHAN tournament has been drawn in Group C. The Black Galaxies will play against Madagascar, Sudan, and Morocco.
This year’s CHAN tournament has been scheduled to kick off on Friday, January 13.
