Interim Ashantigold coach Thomas Duah has blamed his players for defeat against Asante Kotoko in matchday 12 of the Ghana Premier League.

The Porcupine Warriors inflicted a 3-1 win over the miners at the Baba Yara stadium on Sunday.

Cameroonian forward Frank Mbella scored a hat-trick to propel the record Ghana Premier League holders to victory on home turf.

Elijah Addai scored the consolation goal as Ashantigold suffered their third defeat in a roll.

Speaking after the game, Thomas Duah slammed defender Empem Dacosta and his teammates for conceding cheap goals that led to their defeat.

“Some of my players lost concentration; the defenders."

“If I look at the first half which we ended, when we returned for the second half, the same things I spoke to them about were the same things they made them (Asante Kotoko) to score against us. [Empem] Dacosta made the same mistake in the first half and in the second half too he made the same mistake again, so I think we’ve lost due to disobedience."

“All the three goals we conceded were not out of any working out thing (referring to team play) that our defenders allowed them to score against us, so I think it’s painful." He concluded
