We didn't give Kotoko space to operate - Dreams coach Karim Zito

Dreams FC head coach Karim Zito says he instructed his lads not to give Asante Kotoko space to operate during their match week 17 game. He added that the Porcupine Warriors are technically good so he created a plan to stop them from expressing themselves on the pitch.

Dreams FC defeated Asante Kotoko 2-0 in Dawu on Sunday afternoon.

The home team dominated the game, scoring a goal in each half through Aholou Avocevou and Agyenim Boateng Mensah.

“My midfielders did very well I told them if you leave Agadas, you leave sheriff you have yourself to blame. So make sure that…and then Nortey I make sure that they came with 4-3-3 and I came with 4-4-2," Zito said after the game as monitored by Footballghana.com

"So at any given time when I lose the ball I am 5 instead of 4 so we outnumbered them we didn’t give them space I know they are very technically sound if you give them space you cant play them. So I just press them not to give them space to do what they want to do,”

Dreams FC will play against Bibiani Gold Stars in their next Ghana Premier League game.
