We have good players to fill the gap of players that have left Ashgold - Richard Osei Agyemang

Ashanti Gold SC defender, Richard Osei Agyemang has insisted that the club has the personnel to fill the gap left by players that have severed ties with the side.

In the past few months, the Ghana Premier League outfit has lost the services of some of its top players. Key among them is striker Shafiu Mumuni.

While many say the Miners club will suffer after letting go of the players, Richard Osei Agyemang has noted that Ashgold will survive.

“We wish the players who have left the Ashanti Gold SC club well. They have paid their dues at the club.

“I don't think we will miss them because there are equally good players at the club. Nathaniel Asamoah, Hans Koffie, Samad Ibrahim are all around”, the highly-rated defender told Pure FM.

Meanwhile, Ashgold remains active in the ongoing summer transfer window and hopes to sign a couple of players before going into the next season.
