We hope to come back stronger – Kotoko defender Maxwell Agyemang after a torrid campaign

Kotoko defender Maxwell Agyemang has expressed disappointment following the club’s unimpressive performance in the just ended Ghana Premier League season.

The Porcupine Warriors were unable to defend the title in the just ended Ghana Premier League season.

At the end of the campaign, the record Ghana league holders managed to finish fourth with Medeama finishing as champions followed by Aduana Stars and Bechem United.

Kotoko finished the season with a 0-0 stalemate against Dreams FC at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday.

Reacting to the team’s performance in the just ended season, the defender said, “Disappointing to end the season like we did. Our goal was to defend the title once again but unfortunately, we couldn’t.

“My love for the supporters will never fade away, I know you (supporters) deserve the best always. We have learnt a lot and hope to come back stronger.

“This team is going places once again. Thank you.” He wrote on social media.
