Ghana international Joseph Paintsil has said that KRC Genk will keep fighting until the end of the season as they seek to clinch the Belgium Jupiler Pro League title.
Paintsil started and lasted the entire duration as Genk shared the spoils on home turf on Sunday against Union St Gilloise.
The host took the lead through Mark McKenzie after just 13 minutes into the encounter but Victor Okoh Boniface found the back of the net to restore parity as both teams went to recess with a goal apiece.
With no additional goals in the match, the much-anticipated game ended 1-1 at the Cegeka Arena
“We are grateful for your support today. We keep fighting till the end” he tweeted.
The 25-year-old winger has been in blistering form since the beginning of the 2022-23 season, having been involved in 30 goals in all competitions for KRC Genk.
