Tamale City assistant coach Hamza Mohammed says his side is lacking experience players to deliver in the Ghana Premier League.

The Ghana Premier League newcomers held the Porcupine Warriors to a 1-1 draw in their Ghana in Week 11 on Wednesday, January 11, 2022.

It was a barren 45 minutes of action in the first half as both side created few chances at goal.

Kotoko broke the deadlock in the 83rd minute when Issah Nyaabila scored an own goal.

The Porcupines were on the verge of earning their first win of the year till Tamale City FC restored parity in the game.

The hosts equalized three minutes after conceding courtesy of a strike from Babamu Ibrahim to force the match to end in a 1-1 stalemate.

After the game, the former Ghana midfielder asserted his side lack experience players particularly upfront.

“Is an open secret, we lacking experience especially the upfront there. The window is open, we have one or two players that we have signed and possibly by next week they will be ready”

“Obviously we didn’t have much time to prepare for the season and that’s what is showing but with the inclusion of the new guys who are most experienced in the league, I think things will change”

Tamale City are in the relegation drop after 12 matches. They sit 17th position with 11 points.
