President of Ghana, Nana Akufo Addo, has fulfilled the promise he made to Medeama SC when they visited him after winning the league.

The Medeama Sporting Club, Ghana Premier League champions, received a much-anticipated boost for their ongoing CAF Champions League campaign.

Yesterday marked the fulfillment of the significant pledge. This financial injection is poised to be a game-changer for the club as they continue their journey in the prestigious CAF Champions League.

The presentation was made by the Minister of Youth and Sports, Hon. Mustapha Ussif, and his deputy, Hon. Evans Bobie. The duo, representing the President, handed over the substantial sum to Hon. Mireku Duker MP for Tarkwa.

Moses Parker reacting to the fulfillment emphasized the pivotal role this support plays in the club's aspirations and extended heartfelt thanks to President Akufo Addo for keeping his promise.

"Let me first thank the President the President of the nation Nana Akufo Addo when we went there he gave us a lot of advice to march forward and we are going forward," he told Peace FM as monitored by Footballghana.com

"Yesterday they called us the Minister and his deputy called us that the money the President has given it to them so we should come for it we went for it beautifully we will thank him this is the first time a promise has come from the Presidency that we have received.

"We thank the President we will not disgrace him as he has seen has moving forward we will raise the flag of Ghana high and we are doing it,"
