Black Princesses coach Yusif Basigi has stated that the team is ready to take on Ivory Coast and they want to serve Ghanaians with more good football and positive results.

Ghana defeated Benin 3-0 in the opening match of the WAFU B U-20 Girls Cup at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

Maafia Nyame, Mary Amponsah, and Stella Nyamekye got on target for the Princesses to make a brilliant start to the campaign.

“We are ready and we want to take it game after game. We want to give Ghanaians good football and good results,’' Basigi told ghanafa.org.

''We don’t have any injury concern so every player is ready. We have been training to keep in shape. Getting all maximum points will take us top of the group and hopefully we will build on our performance last week. We want to make it to the finals and hopefully win the cup for Ghanaians,''
