Hearts of Oka coach Aboubakar Ouattara has promised to ring numerous changes in the team following their unimpressive performance in the just concluded Ghana Premier League campaign.

The Phobians were staring at relegation heading into the final day games in the Ghanaian top-flight.

But they retained their top-flight status after a crucial 3-2 victory over Bechem United at the Nana Gyeabour Park on Sunday.

The win lifted the Phobians to 14th place on the table, firmly securing their escape from relegation despite earlier fears.

Speaking after the game, Ouattara indicated he will change a lot of things in the team as they aim to compete for the title next season.

“Our fans should look forward to our recruitment ahead of next season. We will change so many things. We will battle for the league title next season and not relegation”

Meanwhile, he has expressed gratitude to the club fans for the support throughout the league season.

“I want to thank all the fans for the support throughout the season. They have always been there for us in good and bad times. Without the fans, we don’t have a team. We need them every time and every moment” he said.
