Nigeria midfielder, Oghenekaro Etebo has stressed that he is confident the Super Eagles will beat Ghana’s Black Stars on Tuesday to secure qualification to the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

The Watford midfielder was a second-half substitute last Friday when Nigeria held Ghana to a goalless draw in the first leg of the playoff tie of the African qualifiers to this year’s global tournament.

Taking to his Twitter to indicate how difficult the match was, Etebo added that Ghana will be brushed aside in the second leg.

“Difficult game last night, great atmosphere, and am believing we can finish the job on Tuesday with hard work,” Oghenekaro Etebo said in a Twitter post after the game.

The reverse fixture between Nigeria and Ghana will be played at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja on Tuesday, March 29, 2022.

The winner will pick one of the five 2022 FIFA World Cup slots allocated to CAF by FIFA.
