Hearts of Oak board member Frank Nelson says his outfit will learn their lessons after enduring a torrid season.
The Phobians have had a difficult campaign across all competitions. They were eliminated from the CAF Confederations Cup in the preliminary round. The rainbow boys also failed to defend the FA Cup title this season.
With two games to end the GPL season, Hearts of Oak find themselves 8th on the league log after winning 12, drawing nine, and losing 11 games.
According to Frank Nelson, the club will learn their lessons and come back stronger next season.
“I think we just have to say to our supporters, we are sorry because we didn’t live up to expectations…so we have failed ourselves. We will learn our lessons as we go, it’s a very bad situation but at the end of the day, that’s where we find ourselves so we accept it,” he said at the press soiree of the BAC Group-organized All Star Festival.
Hearts will finish their league campaign against Real Tamale United and Berekum Chelsea.
