Accra Hearts of Oak goalkeeper, Richmond Ayi says the players will make the fans of the club proud despite their horrific start to 2023/24 Ghana Premier League.

The Phobians have won only a game in 6 outings and they have gone four games without a victory.

With many tagging Hearts of Oak as a candidates for relegation, a problem they fought very much toward the end of last season, Richmond Ayi said the season is a long one.

“It’s not over yet. I will plead with the fans to continue supporting and we will make them proud,” he said.

26-year-old Ayi has featured in three league matches, with all of them ending in draws and conceded a poor free kick in their last game against Bibiani Gold Stars.

Hearts of Oak on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, will host Medeama SC at the Accra Sports Stadium for an outstanding game in the Ghana Premier League.
