Asante Kotoko coach, Prosper Narteh Ogum has urged the players to keep supporting them despite their recent uninspiring performance.

The Reds in the matchday 9 games suffered a shocking 1-0 defeat against Dreams FC at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday.

Abdul Aziz Issah scored a wonderful free-kick as the Still Beleive lads secured all three points.

The defeat on Sunday means Asante Kotoko have recorded back-to-back defeats after losing to Nsoatreman FC in midweek.

Speaking after the game, Narteh Ogum expressed his disappointment but implored the fans to support the team and assured them that they would make the fans proud by winning subsequent games.

"Very disappointing. Our finishing was poor," he told StarTimes after the game," he said.

"The feeling among the playing body is not good. Automatically is not good. If you don’t win, the feeling is always bad.

"It is a league which is ongoing so they should keep supporting the team and we will make them proud," he added.

Asante Kotoko now sit 14th on the league log with 10 points with two wins, four draws and three defeat.

Prosper Narteh Ogum and his charges will hope to return to winning ways when they travel to play FC Samartex 1996 in the matchday 10 games on Saturday at Nsenkyire Sports Complex.
