Black Meteors coach Ibrahim Tanko has revealed plans to field a revamped starting XI in their upcoming friendly game.

Taking an unconventional approach, the coach aims to inject fresh energy and creativity into the team, setting the stage for an intriguing clash.

Black Meteors drew 1-1 with Egypt yesterday in an international friendly. After 10 minutes captain Daniel Afriyie Barnieh found the back of the net from the penalty spot.

Before the break, however, the hosts managed to do enough to restore parity to the game.

A strike from Ibrahim Adel made it 1-1 in the 28th minute as the two teams went into the break on level-pegging.

"Yes I think we want to give everyone chance to see because this are friendly matches you have to access each of them. So definitely in the next game we are going to see another faces so that we will make a very good selection for the tournament," Tanko told Peace Peace FM as monitored by Footballghana.com

"It is a very good experience we missed to go to Japan with one penalty. When I look at this squad I am very hopeful that we are going to make it this time,"
