General Manager of Samartex, Edmund Ackah says his outfit will prove themselves to Ghanaians next season.

The Sameraboi-based club are currently 8th on the league standings with 42 points after 30 matches into the season.

With four games to end the season, Edmund Ackah is defiant about Samartex relegation survival.

In an interview with Accra-based Asempa FM, the former Asante Kotoko management member who believes his side will survive relegation has promised to make a huge impact next season.

“Most of the teams that qualifies to the Premier League normally fail to stay up in the league. The perception has always been that the teams just qualify to make up the numbers in the Ghana Premier League but we want to change the narrative”

“We want to stay in the league for the first season but from next season, we let Ghanaians know us well” he said.

The Ghana Premier League will go on break for the FA Cup semifinal games this weekend.

Samartex will travel to Kumasi to face King Faisal in the week 31 fixture next week.
