We will repeat Hearts of Oak’s 2000 and 2004 success – W.O Tandoh

Hearts of Oak physical trainer W.O Tandoh is confident about the side repeating the club success between 2000 and 2004 season.

The Phobians became a force to reckon with in the aforementioned years winning both the CAF Champions League and the CAF Confederations Cup.

After chalking that feat, the club has struggled to make impact in recent times having won their last Ghana Premier League title in 2009.

Having edged closer to annexing their first GPL title in a decade after beating Kotoko, the former Aduana Stars coach says his outfit will repeat the success of the ’64 batallions’.

“The most motivation is playing in Africa to do more than what the 64 batallions did and We are going to repeat the 2000 and 2004 feat this time, we mean business”.

Hearts of Oak sit top of the table with 59 points after 31 matches and are being trailed by Kotoko with three points with three matches to end the season.
