Dreams FC head coach, Karim Zito has set his sights on winning the CAF Confederations Cup should they reach the semifinals of the tournament.

The Ghana Premier League side made history by finishing at the top of their group in their maiden participation in the ongoing 2023/24 competition.

The Still Believe lads, who finished Group C with 12 points have become the first club to play in the quarterfinal of the tournament since 2004 after Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko achieved the feast.

Speaking after the qualification, the former Asante Kotoko gaffer praised his side for their performance and insisted they aim to annex the ultimate should they reach the last four of the tournament.

"We started on a difficult note but we have been able to make history by playing in the last 16," he told Asempa FM as monitored by Footballghana.com. "We are happy with our achievement and we thank the directors of our club for their support.

"With our place in the last 16, we will aim to win the trophy if we play in the semifinals because we are a strong side with good players. The group games have given us the experience to compete well.

"We are working on that and we hope to achieve that," he added.

Dreams FC will discover their next opponent on March 12.
