We won against Asante Kotoko due to our attacking mindset - Nsoatreman FC coach Maxwell Konadu

Nsoatreman Football Club head coach, Maxwell Konadu, says his team’s all-attack mindset was key in their win against Asante Kotoko.

Nsoatreman recorded a 2-1 win against the Porcupine Warriors in the Matchday 24 games at the Baba Yara Stadium.

Abdul Manaf broke the deadlock but Shadrack Addo scored to end the first half 1-1.

However, after recess, Abdul Rahman scored late in as the Nsoatre side recorded all three points.

“Before the game, I told you that we didn’t come to defend; we play all attacking football and that is the result we had," Konadu said after the game.

"Even though we conceded the equalizer, we kept our shape and made sure that we handled the ball and circulated the ball very well and it paid off so I’m proud of the boys today," he added.

The defeat however piles more pressure on underfire Asante Kotoko coach Prosper Narteh Ogum who has had his side lose five in six games in the second half of the season.

Asante Kotoko now sit 10th in the league log with 32 points while Nsoatreman occupy the fifth spot with 37 points.

Nsoatreman FC will host Great Olympics while Asante Kotoko will travel to play Dreams FC all in the Matchday 25 games.
