Lazio defender Wesley Hoedt will be on the south coast today to sign for Southampton.
Yesterday, Hoedt said farewells to his Lazio teammates and club staff yesterday before he boards a flight this morning for England.
Lazio chief Igli Tare and coach Simone Inzaghi both confirmed Hoedt's sale over the weekend.
The defender will be accompanied by his agent this morning on their flight from Rome, with him scheduled to undergo a medical at Southampton.
The two clubs have settled on a €17m fee for Hoedt.
