West Bromwich Albion have secured a work permit for Ali Gabr.
The Egyptian defender joined Albion from Zamalek last month in a loan deal until the end of the season.
He is available for selection for Saturday's FA Cup fifth-round clash with Southampton.
The Baggies have the option of making the move permanent, with a fee between the two clubs already agreed upon.
Gabr has linked up with his Egypt centre-half partner Ahmed Hegazy.
