West Ham officials acted after fans were involved in unruly scenes in October's EFL Cup clash against Chelsea in October.

Antonio Conte's team return to the London Stadium for a Premier League clash where a 'five-point-plan' to tackle such behaviour will be enforced to avoid a repeat of the unpleasant scenes experiencedin October.

The anti-thug policy includes giving stewards hand-held cameras to film hooligans, widening segregation areas between rival fans, higher physical barriers between home and away sections and blocking off exit routes after the game to keep rival factions apart.

West Ham have largely eliminated hooliganism since the incident in October, but local police have given the clash the highest possible security category. Both sets of supporters threw missiles, including: seats, coins, and bottles towards the end of the game.

The Hammers banning orders ranges from indefinite to a few months, but other culprits are still being pursued.
