West Ham clear to recall Oxford from Gladbach

Published on: 17 December 2017

West Ham can recall Reece Oxford from his loan with Borussia Monchengladbach next month.

Oxford's loan contract said he had to make seven appearances for Monchengladbach to avoid the break clause being activated, but he has only appeared three times.

The Daily Mail also reports club insiders have laughed off suggestions that West Ham would be willing to sell the starlet permanently to Monchengladbach – particularly for the low price of £6million.

Oxford is contracted to West Ham until the summer of 2021.

He made his first start for Gladbach last week in defeat to Freiburg.
