Ayew came on from the bench to provide an assist for Pedro Obiang’s opener and scored minutes later to hand West Ham their first win of the season over Huddlesfield Town.

The player then dedicated his goal to his brother who was celebrating his 26th birthday.

Jordan Ayew plays for Swansea City but lost on Sunday to Christian Atsu’s Newcastle United.

Andre Ayew helped ease the pressure on manager Slaven Bilic who confessed after the game it was a huge relief.
