Avram Grant has sent a strong warning to his opponents at the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon.

The former Chelsea coach, who has been preparing his team for the tournament in Al Ain since January 3rd, sent out the warning after his opposite number for the tourney Milutin "Micho" Sredojevic, Uganda coach spied on his team in Dubai.

The Serbian trainer wanted to get more tactical briefing on their opening Group D match in Port-Gentil on 17 January but Grant claims he and his charges will surprise him and other opponents.

"This is no secret in football today since we are also having scouts working for us. But my team is made of quality players and we will make things hard for them in Gabon.”

"We need to know that the first game against Uganda is very difficult. When you want to reach the top, u need to focus on the steps to the top."

"We need to win games and show better mentality and win our games like we did in the last tournament. I think we can move out for the group." He stated.

The Black Stars are set to leave for Gabon on Friday January 13 ahead of the opening game of the tournament on Saturday.
