With the right mentality we can beat Hearts of Oak, says Legon Cities coach Bashir Hayford

The head coach for Legon Cities FC, Bashir Hayford is confident of leading the team to beat Hearts of Oak after insisting that his side are not underdogs.

The experienced tactician and his team will play as host to the Phobians on Thursday evening in a matchday 30 encounter of the ongoing 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League season.

While Hearts of Oak are being tipped to win the game, coach Bashir Hayford says he has no doubt his Legon Cities FC can cruise to victory with the right mindset and mentality.

“We are not going into this game as the underdogs. Not at all. We don’t need to be termed as the underdogs.

“This will be a very difficult game, of course. If we go into the game with the right mentality, mindset, and attitude, we can win,” Coach Bashir Hayford said at a press conference on Wednesday.

The fixture between Legon Cities FC and Hearts of Oak comes off tomorrow and will kick off at 18:00GMT.
