Former Member of Parliament for Tema East, Daniel Nii Kwartei Titus Glover has charged Otto Addo to drop Andre Ayew and Jordan Ayew from his starting lineup against Portugal.

Ghana will face the European country in their Group H opener on Thursday at the 974 Stadium.

Kick-off has been scheduled at 16:00GMT.

Speaking in an interview, Hon. Glover says the Ayew brothers must start the game from the bench.

"I know we will win against Portugal," he told TV3.

“I would want Jordan Ayew should be on the bench, Andre Ayew should come on as a substitute for at least 15 to 20 minutes.

"I love his charisma and I love the way he motivates his teammates to win games and so I would love him to come as a substitute so he can drive his teammates on to win," he added.

Ghana, who are making their fourth appearance at the Mundial will hope to kick off their campaign on a good note after exiting the group phase in 2014 in Brazil.

Four days later, the Black Stars return to action with a clash with South Korea at the Education City Stadium in Al Rayyan.

Ghana will wrap up their group stage adventure with their much-anticipated encounter with Uruguay at Al Janoub Stadium in Al Wakrah.
