World Cup 2022: Black Stars hold final training session ahead of Portugal game on Thursday [PHOTOS]

The Black Stars of Ghana held a final training session on Wednesday as part of the preparations for the clash against Portugal in the opening match of the 2022 FIFA World Cup on Thursday, November 24.

Ghana is one of five African countries representing the continent at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

The Black Stars are set to compete in Group H of the group stages of the tournament. In that group, Ghana will battle it out with two-time champions Uruguay, as well as South Korea from Asia.

Following the start of the mundial last Sunday, the Black Stars under the guidance of head coach Otto Addo and his assistants have been preparing the team for the first challenge.

As reported by the coach at his pre-match press conference, every player is fully fit and ready to fight for the country.

This evening, training ended with no injury concerns.

The game between Ghana and Portugal is scheduled to kick off at 16:00gmt on Thursday.

Subsequently, Ghana will take on South Korea on November 28 before finishing the group stages campaign with a rematch against Uruguay.
