Former Ghana international Michael Osei has advised Ghanaians to lower their expectations for the Black Stars at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

The Black Stars will take on South Korea in their second Group H game on Monday afternoon at the Education City Stadium.

Otto Addo’s team suffered a 3-2 defeat against Portugal whiles South Korea shared the spoils with Uruguay in their opening games respectively.

The 2016 European Champions, Portugal currently sit top of Group H with three points.

Meanwhile, the defeat means Ghana are bottom of Group H after Uruguay and South Korea played out a goalless draw last Thursday.

Speaking to Footballghana.com, the Bibiani Goldstars trainer urged Ghanaians to lower expectations for the national, saying team must go extra mile to excel at the tournament.

“Is normally a difficult game but everything is possible. We should lower expectations, this is World Cup, the highest level in the game so every opponent is not easy to beat”

“We need to go extra mile and be tactically discipline against Korea” he said.
