Morocco defender Achraf Hakimi is confident his side will beat France in the semi-final of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Hakimi will come up against his club teammate Kylian Mbappe at Al Bayt Stadium on Wednesday.
The Atlas Lions stunned Spain in the Round of 16 and secured a 1-0 win over Portugal in the quarter-final at Al Thumama Stadium to become the first African country to progress to the last four.
Ahead of the semi-final clash, there has been some banter between Hakimi and Mbappe and here some comments from both players.
Mbappe said: “From the stadium Education City (40,000 spectators), it's great, I hope to play against Morocco in the World Cup."
He added, "We will play against Morocco, where I have to destroy my friend," to which Hakimi replied: "I will beat you."
Mbappe smiled, then commented: "This will break my heart, but this is football... I have to kill him."
A win over France will see Morocco become the first-ever African country to reach the final of the World Cup.
