World Cup 2022: South Korea attacker Cho Kyu-seong keen on helping country to beat Ghana on Monday

South Korea forward, Cho Kyu-seong is not paying attention to the applause directed his way after a top performance against Uruguay.

The forward displayed fine form last Thursday when he featured for his country in the opening Group H match in the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

After the game ended goalless, Cho Kyu-seong became popular on social media as his Instagram following increased overnight by 300,000 new followers.

Speaking in a pre-match press conference ahead of South Korea’s second match in Group H against Ghana, Cho Kyu-seong says he wants to do better than he did in the last match.

"I could have done better, but I feel so sorry that I could only do this,” he said.

The attacker is expected to start for South Korea on Monday, November 28, when his country takes on Ghana.

The important game will kick off at the Education City Stadium at 1pm.
